Alexander Isak goalscorer – reached 20 goals in the PL

Alexander Isak has been red-hot lately and when Burnley faced the opposition on Saturday, he was found as usual in Newcastle’s starting eleven.

And the 24-year-old became a goalscorer again.

But first he missed a penalty just after the break. Or rather, it was Arijanet Muric who saved.

– It’s a very weak penalty, said former Celtic player Chris Sutton in the BBC.

However, the striker got his revenge. Just a minute later, he put the ball behind Arijanet Muric after a play from the right wing. The score was then 4-0.

The goal was Isak’s 20th in the Premier League this season.

With a quarter of an hour left, Isak was substituted and he was replaced by Miguel Almiron.

The match ended 4-1. Newcastle are currently sixth in the Premier League. Burnley, on the other hand, are parked in the relegation zone and are five points clear of Nottingham Forest on safe ground with two league games left to play.

Starting XI:

Burnley: Muric – Assignon, O’Shea, Esteve, Vitinho – Cullen, Bergem Brownhill, Bruun Larsen – Foster, Odobert.

Newcastle: Dubravka – Livramento, Krafth, Burn, Hall – Murphy, Longstaff, Guimaraes, Gordon – Wilson, Isak.
