CSKA and Spartak played a draw in the Moscow derby on the 21st round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The match was postponed from March to April due to the presidential elections.
The match at the CSKA arena ended with the score 0:0. At the end of the first half, Red-White defender Alexis Dutarte hit an opponent in the face with his hand and received a yellow card, which became his fourth. He will miss the next match.
The first shot on target for Spartak came in the 80th minute, but Igor Akinfeev was able to catch the ball.
Spartak, with 39 points, is now in sixth place in the table. CSKA has 38 points. This is the first goalless draw in this derby since the fall of 2003.
In the next match, Spartak will meet with Lokomotiv on April 28, and CSKA will play with Baltika Kaliningrad on the same day.
Spartak played the third match without defeat after the resignation of Guillermo Abascal. The Spanish specialist was dismissed after the “red-whites” lost to the outsider RPL Sochi in the 24th round (0:1), GlagoL wrote .
