There are many indications that David Moyes will leave West Ham.
Now the club seems to have found its replacement.
According to reports, an agreement has been reached with Julen Lopetegui.
On Sunday, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that West Ham United have decided to part ways with coach David Moyes, who is forced to leave this summer.
It has previously been reported that the club has been close to an agreement with former Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui and now Romano states that the parties are in agreement.
The reports claim that Lopetegui has accepted West Ham’s proposal and that the next step is the formal details of the coaching recruitment before the contract signing is expected to take place.
During Monday, The Athletic also reported that Lopetegui was recently contacted by Bayern Munich, but the Spaniard should, according to the information, have rejected the German club’s push.
In addition to Real Madrid, Lopetegui has also managed Spain’s national team, Wolves, Porto and Sevilla.
