Details: Osimhen could turn down PSG – for PL move

In January, Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed that the team’s star forward Victor Osimhen is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

“We’ve known this since last summer, otherwise the negotiations to extend wouldn’t have been so protracted. We already knew then that he would join Real Madrid, PSG or any Premier League club,” De Laurentiis explained to Sport Mediaset at the time.

Since then, speculation has continued about which club will buy the Nigerian in the summer and at the end of April, Il Matino reported that Osimhen was close to a move to PSG. But now new reports claim that Osimhen could turn down a move to the French capital.

Journalist Gianluca di Marzio reports that Osimhen does not want to join PSG. He is said to prefer a move to England and a top team in the Premier League, where there have been reports of interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli at the end of 2023. According to previous information, the current agreement includes a buyout clause of around SEK 1.4 billion.
