Erling Haaland’s show – four goals in less than an hour

Manchester City overcame Wolves.
Erling Haaland was deadly effective, scoring four goals in less than an hour.
The team won 5-1.

Alexander Isak scored twice for his Newcastle and reached the milestone of 20 goals in the Premier League.

Against Wolves, Erling Haaland hardly wanted to be worse.

1-0 he safely rolled in on a penalty and after a little more than half an hour he reached the top of a cross from the right and headed the ball in.

His third goal also came from the penalty spot, completing his veritable hat-trick of three goals in the same half.

But the Norwegian wanted more than that.

Wolves reduced to 1-3 but not even a minute later the Norwegian bit back and made it 4-1.

This after he advanced from the right – and drilled a left-footed cannon next to the far post.

The goal was his 25th league goal of the season.

– Wow, what a finish, says Jamie Carragher in Sky Sports.

With eight minutes left in the match, he was replaced and left the field to the great cheers of the crowd.

The match ended 5-1 to City in the end.

The team is second behind Arsenal.

They are one point up with a game less played.
