Coaching profile Martin O’Neill has over the years coached clubs such as Leicester, Celtic, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest, as well as the Irish national team. The last time he had an assignment was at Forest in 2019, and now he could possibly take on a new job soon.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, O’Neill is in the running to take over the Romanian big club Rapid Bucharest, currently in sixth place in the Romanian top league.
Over the years, Rapid Bucharest has won the Romanian league three times, most recently in 2003.
