Sesko has convinced the Milan management

Milan are reportedly on the hunt for a long-term forward replacement for Olivier Giroud, who has been placed with MLS side LAFC. The club has been linked with several options, but now information claims that the club has found its transfer target.

According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, RB Leipzig’s Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko has convinced the Milan management, led by adviser Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

During the season, Sesko has accounted for 16 goals in 40 matches in all competitions and in his current contract there is a buyout clause of 50 million euros, approximately 586 million kroner. According to the information, however, there is a belief within Milan that they can succeed in signing Sesko for a lower amount.

Sesko has previously been rumored to clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Barcelona.
