Arsenal talent Chidozie Obi-Martin, 16, has recently been scoring goals for Arsenal’s Under-18s with 28 goals in 16 appearances in the Premier League Under-18s.
Now, the English newspaper The Telegraph states that Bayern Munich have opened their eyes to Obi-Martin and may make an attempt to sign the player. In England, clubs are only allowed to offer players contracts without a salary cap when they are over 17, which is not the case in Germany, which could be an advantage for Bayern, as the pledge turns 17 on November 29 this year. Bayern could, in the case of a signing attempt, offer a substantial salary to the player.
Earlier, bold.dk also reported interest from Ajax and Borussia Dortmund.
Obi-Martin has yet to make a match with Arsenal’s A team.
